Job Description

Position Summary This position is responsible for photographing merchandise, writing accurate item descriptions, conducting product research, and completing detailed data entry for online sales operations. The role supports the E-Commerce department by ensuring quality listings, timely shipping, and excellent customer service. Essential Functions Photograph merchandise for online listings. Create accurate and detailed item descriptions for online sales. Research merchandise using online and written resources to determine value and product details. Quickly and efficiently process individual items and groups of items for online sale. Identify and evaluate specialty items, collectibles, and jewelry. Ensure accurate data entry and listing information. Sort, evaluate, and identify merchandise for sale on e-commerce platforms. Prepare sold items for shipping while ensuring accuracy and meeting shipping deadlines. Provide excellent customer service via email and phone by addressing customer questions and concerns. Follow all E-Commerce policies and procedures established by Goodwill Industries. Properly assign listing numbers and organize inventory for easy retrieval and shipping. Meet or exceed daily production goals. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Interact professionally with customers, coworkers, and leadership. Perform additional duties as assigned. Job Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Knowledge of jewelry, collectibles, and specialty items preferred. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation. Photography experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Prior experience working in a production or warehouse environment preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, carry, push, pull, and lift objects up to 35 pounds independently. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office and/or warehouse environment. Environment may include low to moderate noise levels. Ability to manage multiple priorities and production deadlines in a fast-paced setting. Additional Information Other duties may be assigned as needed to support departmental operations.
