Position Goals:
The goals of this position are to assist the Shipping & Receiving Department in their general laborer, clerical and warehouse needs.
About WEPCO:
Westfield Electroplating Company (WEPCO), a growing aerospace company, was founded in 1946 and is located in the western part of Massachusetts in the city of Westfield. WEPCO is family owned and operated and currently employs 200 highly skilled platers, painters, and technicians. WEPCO is a stable non-union facility with diverse aerospace and defense finishing capabilities servicing military, government, aviation, medical and electronic industries. WEPCO has the honor of being the first company in the country to achieve the National Aerospace and Defense Contractor Accreditation Program (NADCAP) accreditation in chemical processing, a status they have proudly continuously held over the last decade.
Skills and Tasks:
Medical DOT Card Clean Driving Record Must have a valid Driver License Class D Forklift and Fork Truck Strong communication skills Must have ability to work in a collaborative team environment Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills High school diploma or equivalent is required
Strong Customer Service Skills Strong Computer Skill Required Tasks:
Handling incoming and outgoing packages Perform company data entry from a purchase order (PO) Scanning operations Occasional Deliveries (WEPCO Paint Shop & Warehouse) Drive Customer Routes (1-2x's a week) Load and unload trucks Receive UPS and FedEx packages Support Packaging/Production Department Support 5S initiatives within the Department Why Work
