This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution processes. The ideal candidate must have experience in shipping and receiving , as well as a strong understanding of warehouse management systems. You will be responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, communicates with customers on shipments/issues and prepares items for shipment . Hours are 8a-4p M-F with occasional OT. Responsibilities Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are received and dispatched correctly. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and order fulfillment. Perform packaging duties for outgoing orders, ensuring items are secure for transport. Conduct order picking and packing with attention to detail to meet customer specifications. Maintain accurate records of shipments using RF scanners and MRP systems. Communicates with Plant Manager and Supervisors on status of production scheduling. Generates shop paper and travelers for each order and makes sure parts are properly tagged prior to parts moving to production. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders within the plant. OK with working around chemicals and chemical smells. Skills Must have experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms. Must have strong background in shipping & receiving processes and order fulfillment procedures. Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory management and record keeping. Knowledge of packaging standards to ensure safe transport of goods. Ability to use RF scanners for tracking inventory accurately. Experience in warehouse distribution practices is preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Proficient in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks preferred.
