Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic logistics team as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, where your energy and precision will drive the seamless flow of goods through our warehouse. In this vital role, you'll coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while supporting efficient warehouse operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, equipment operation, and distribution processes within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Receive incoming shipments by inspecting, verifying, and recording deliveries using RF scanners and warehouse systems (eSAP). Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately according to customer specifications. Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks efficiently. Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and conducting regular cycle counts using warehouse distribution techniques. Ensure proper packaging of products to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety standards. Utilize SAP systems to track inventory levels and coordinate order fulfillment. Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following safety protocols and performing routine equipment inspections. Experience Previous warehouse experience with a focus on shipping & receiving operations is highly preferred. Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners is essential. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (such as AS400) and MRP software enhances efficiency. Basic math skills are necessary for counting inventory, measuring packages, and calculating weights or dimensions. Knowledge of eSAP fulfillment processes including picking & packing for online orders is a plus. Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety procedures ensures accuracy and workplace safety. Prior experience in warehouse distribution environments demonstrates adaptability in fast-paced settings.
