$21.00-$23.00/hour

Our client specializes in transportation, warehousing, quality containment & inspection services, and assembly sequencing operations to support the automotive and other industries. Summary of essential job functions Effectively uses systems and warehouse technology to ship finished goods to OEM customer in a Just in Time environment Accurately updates spreadsheets and inventory information and communicates load information to the customer Submits ASNs and monitors cumulative Prints shipping labels and conducts yard checks Communicates with other warehouse personnel about shipping and receiving practices and scans inbound material Problem solves for customers and suppliers about shipping routes, delayed items, and rush orders Performs administrative duties like updating records, interfacing with inbound truck drivers and providing excellent customer service Liaises with warehouse supervisors and managers about product ordering and storage Maintains good customer relationships and answers any customer questions Keeps organized shipping records, including statements of origin, shipping costs, products shipped, and receipt dates Troubleshoots shipping issues and customer issues that occur; works to solve these administrative or organizational problems to increase warehouse and shipping/receiving efficiency Works well with shipping team to complete shipments on time Required skills, knowledge and abilities Minimum 2 years' experience in a shipping receiving office Strong computer skills Exceptional customer service and problem resolution abilities Participate in, support and comply with all health, safety and quality initiatives; Able to respond quickly to customer demands Understanding of automotive industry, customers, products and terminology an asset. Experience with Ford CMMS is an asset Key Success Skills for this role: Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Flexibility and adaptability for various tasks as jobs changes by customer requirements Exceptional work ethic, able to work well with others in a team environment
