Hourly General Overview:
Responsible for receiving, distributing, and maintaining materials used in shipping and production for the manufacturing of the finest sporting good products. Responsible for pulling, packaging, and processing orders for shipment of the finest sporting good products while working in a safe, organized environment in the Distribution Department.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Box up inventory from productionCount, monitor, and maintain required levels of inventory for shipping and report when lowWrap and band pallets for storage and skid ordersLoad and unload palletsLoad and unload containersSeparate and check in containersCollect and discard recyclables including cutting up cardboardAssist with 6S for the shipping and warehouse locationsReceive in packing slips/purchase orders and deliver to manufacturingPackage and process orders for shipment including special requests, call tags, and trackingAssist manufacturing, maintenance, safety, shipping and R D when neededAssist with EH&S monthly checks and other itemsKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Education Required:
High school diploma and one to two years of shipping and warehouse experienceAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamGood verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailValid Drivers LicenseGood JudgementForklift certifiedOrganizational skillsAbility to problem solveWorking Conditions:
Clean organized, climate-controlled production and warehouse work environmentSafety Hazards:
Depending upon department, may be exposed to dust, air borne fibers, dirt, noise, vibrations, chemicals, and solvents. Work is also performed outside in extreme temperatures ranging from hot and humid to snow and freezing temperatures. Walking and driving between buildings year-round is required. Safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves are required while performing certain tasks.LANGUAGE SKILLS
