Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk with strong inventory control experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility, ensuring accuracy in shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Shipping Duties:
  • Prepare items for shipment, ensure compliance with shipping regulations
  • Generate shipping documentation
  • Coordinate with carriers for timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Communicate with some customers for them to schedule their shipments if applicable.
  • Receiving Duties:
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify quantities against purchase orders
  • Record and report discrepancies or damaged goods
  • Unload shipments and organize products in the warehouse
  • Inventory Control:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system, log materials from jobs into computer software
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Order packaging materials for jobs when needed
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with warehouse staff, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Work with operators and bring them the items needed for them to complete their jobs (e.g. material and packaging supplies)
  • Safely maneuver forklift throughout the building
  • Maintain plastic recycling program/inventory
  • Cut up scrap using bandsaw
  • Must be able to lift 50+lbs Must be Dependable, Flexible, Detail and People oriented
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
