Their duties include organizing inventory for easy retrieval as new orders come in, reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment schedules to maintain productive operations and documenting damages to inventory.
Duties:
Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures and best practices. Verify shipping and product information using a computer. Packs product into appropriate containers using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Enters shipping information into shipping system programs, such as FedEx and UPS. Affixes appropriate identification labels which include ship-to and packing information onto crates and containers. Processes appropriate transactions for weights, charges, and other related information into ERP system using the computer terminal. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Requirements
REQUIRED
High school diploma or equivalent is required. 6 months-1 year experience related to shipping/receiving, picking/packing or warehouse Direct experience with shipping and packing preferred SAP/ERP experience preferred Background check and 10 panel drug screen
KNOWLEDGE
: Ability to read shipping documents Flexible and willing to work in any areas of distribution as needed Able to work independently with little supervision Ability to think critically to meet and exceed internal customer expectations General packaging knowledge

$19.50-21.00 •Depending on Experience• #MS1
