Penmac Staffing is currently seeking a Shipping Specalist in Gerald, MO. This position is responsible for coordinating and executing all shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. This role involves inventory management, order fulfillment, compliance with shipping regulations, and maintaining communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient shipping operations within the plant. This is a safety sensitive position

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Prepare shipments for delivery, including labeling, packaging, and documentation.

Process outgoing shipments in an accurate and timely manner.

Ensure all shipping documentation is completed correctly.

Verify and record all items loaded for shipments.

Inspect and verify shipments for accuracy and quality.

Identify and help troubleshoot shipping issues.

Position Qualifications:

Experience in shipping, logistics, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Basic knowledge of inventory management.

Basic math, language, and reading skills.

Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Valid state motor vehicle operator's license is preferred.

Must be able to work independently and in a team environmentGood attendance is required for this positionSatisfactorily pass forklift driving training program or demonstrate safe handling of forklift in on-site test.
