We repair and overhaul avionics for airlines, operators and MROs across the United States and around the world. About 50 people. Position overview You own the dock. Everything that comes into this building and everything that leaves it goes through you, and in a repair station that means paperwork as much as freight. A unit that ships without its release tag, or an international shipment missing its export documentation, is a problem that lands on the company, not just a late delivery. Shipping

• Pack and ship repaired units, making sure each one goes out with its correct airworthiness release paperwork
• Build international shipments: commercial invoices, export documentation, and restricted-party screening before anything leaves
• Book carriers, compare rates and transit times, and pick the right service for the urgency Receiving
• Receive incoming units and parts, verify what arrived against the purchase order or repair order, and route them to the right place
• Receive chemicals and consumables safely, including adhesives, sealants and solvents, following the safety data sheet for handling and storage, and get the certifications to Quality
• Pull the certification and traceability paperwork that arrives with each item and get it to the people who need it
• Flag shortages, damage and discrepancies, and work with purchasing and the vendor to resolve them Records and improvement
• Keep shipping and receiving records complete and audit-ready in AvSight
• Track claims for lost or damaged freight
• Bring forward ideas to make the process better. You will see the problems before anyone else does
• Work safely and hold yourself accountable for it. PPE where required, no shortcuts Duties may change as needed or as requested by management. Qualifications
• 2+ years in shipping and receiving, logistics, warehouse or material management
• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in a related field is a plus
• Import and export regulation knowledge is strongly preferred, including commercial invoices, export classification and restricted-party screening
• Familiarity with an electric pallet jack preferred
• Careful with documentation. In this building the paperwork is the product as much as the part is
• Comfortable on a computer and able to learn our systems
• Able to lift and move boxes, parts and equipment, and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver's license Helpful, not required
• Aviation, aerospace, or another regulated industry
• AES filing or ITAR and EAR exposure
• Experience with an ERP; we run AvSight, an aviation platform built on Salesforce
• Familiarity with 8130-3 tags, certificates of conformance, or parts traceability
• Safe handling of chemicals and familiarity with safety data sheets Our systems We are a Mac shop.

AvSight is our ERP, Outlook handles outside communication, and Slack is how we talk to each other internally. We will get you up to speed on all of it. Work environment Primarily warehouse, with some office work and occasional visits to other facilities. Includes time in shop and lab areas, standing for extended periods, lifting equipment, and handling small components. Personal protective equipment required in designated areas. Schedule Full time, on site in Lee's Summit. Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
