Job Description

Ford Hotel Supply, Co. is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals for our Warehouse Associate positions primarily located in Overland, Mo. As part of our team, you will be responsible for preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Duties also include organizing, tracking, and maintaining inventory for easy retrieval and documenting damages to inventory.
Requirements:
Clean background check. Must be able to obtain Pallet Jack Certification. Ability to lift and maneuver heavy products. Up to 50 lbs. alone and over 200 lbs. with team assistance and/or proper equipment. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Understand basic math conversions of multiple Units of Measurement. Strong communication, customer service, organizational, multitasking, and problem•solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Associate will be able to process incoming and outgoing deliveries by: Obtain and process pick tickets, sales and purchase orders. Maintain inventory accuracy by counting items received on incoming and outgoing shipments. Packaging of outbound shipments by palletizing, boxing, banding, or shrink•wrapping material to prevent damage during shipment. Keep files of goods shipped and received by preparing regular shipping and receiving reports for managers. Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling such as damage, freight cost or delays. Use pallet jacks, once and if certified, to move inventory appropriately.

Day Shift Monday•Friday Available to work extended hours as needed.
Experience:
Warehouse:
1 year preferred but not required.
Pallet Jack:
Certified but will assist with the obtaining of certification.
