Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Materials Receiving / Inventory Clerk to join our growing team. This position is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and maintaining inventory of medical supplies and equipment to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting quality patient care through efficient inventory management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect medical supplies and equipment for damage, accuracy, and completeness upon receipt. Verify product descriptions, quantities, lot numbers, serial numbers, expiration dates, and other required documentation. Accurately enter receiving and inventory transactions into the inventory management system. Label, stock, and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory. Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock, shortages, or discrepancies. Pick, stage, and distribute medical supplies and DME products for customer orders, patient deliveries, or internal departments. Rotate inventory and monitor products for expiration dates. Assist with product recalls, returns, and inventory quarantines when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations. Collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Billing, and Operations to ensure product availability and timely order fulfillment. Assist with shipping, packaging, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. One to three years of receiving, inventory, warehouse, or medical supply experience preferred. Experience in a medical supply, DME, healthcare, or distribution environment is strongly preferred. Basic computer skills with experience using inventory management systems. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and time management skills.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday. Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment.
