11-21-2025 POSITION SUMMARY Works with Finish Department personnel to document and route outgoing freight and verify and reship incoming freight by performing the following duties. Follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reviews documents to ensure that assigned classifications and tariffs are in accordance with mode of transportation and destination of shipment. Investigate shipper or consignee complaints regarding lost or damaged product or shortages in shipment to determine responsibility. Directs preparation of claims against carrier responsible and corresponds with shipper or consignee to effect settlement. Schedules shipments to ensure compliance with interstate traffic laws and regulations and company policies.
