JOB SUMMARY
The Production Fulfillment Lead will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the production area within our distribution and fulfillment center. This role involves the receipt, organization, and fulfillment of production requests ensuring accuracy and efficiency in production processing. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to support and train a team. You will be trained on ensuring you understand unit measurement and being able to apply measurements to customers' specifications and inspect shipments to deliver correct order fulfillment. YOU ARE Review of Item Velocity Reports to ensure items are effectively located to increase picker productivity, reduce replenishment and maximize space utilization in the facility. Assist in the slotting of new items at the time of receiving. Slotting items into pick slots to support outbound sales. Utilize different slot types based on product movement, physical characteristics and pick method. Update of warehouse pick, and reserve pallet locations as needed. Ensure warehouse mapping current. Run daily/weekly reports to show warehouse capacity. Review product placement to increase warehouse efficiency and productivity by reduction in replenishment tasks and associate travel time. Reduce product damages stemming from incorrect product placement.
REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in a related field is a plus
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods Requires sufficient physical ability to occasionally push and pull, frequently bend, walk, lift, carry, and reach moderate amounts of weight in a fast-paced environment. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and health regulations.
