Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role will primarily be responsible for both the shipping of outgoing products and receiving of parts and materials to used for production. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes. You will also be responsible for managing inventory. Duties Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks to load and unload shipments safely. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely, labeling them correctly, and ensuring correct counts according to ship lists. Receive incoming shipments by verifying contents against purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and recording discrepancies. Process and send FedEx shipments in a timely and accurate manner. Utilize ERP system (JobBoss) receive parts. Occasionally drive sprinter vans and box truck locally to pick up parts and materials from vendors. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency within the warehouse environment. Skills Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Basis computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite experience is a plus Strong basic math skills. Willingness to learn unique parts to ensure accurate counts and packaging. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to maintain organized inventory and shipping processes. Flex to other departments as needed to support production and operational demands. Physical Abilities Ability to lift 45lbs regularly, as well as stand/walk for extended periods of time. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive tasks as needed.
