We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and is used to physical labor and working with their hands. This job requires standing for long periods of time and some work must be performed outside. We are a job shop located in Charlotte, NC near I-77 and Billy Graham. We work Monday - Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm. Overtime is very limited. The shop is heated and air-conditioned although some work will be performed outdoors. Resume required Responsibilities and Duties Typical duties are as follows but not limited to: Finishing products by grinding, deburring, filing, sanding, polishing Clean and package parts for shipping Cut and prepare material for upcoming jobs Inspect finished product surfaces for defects and notify management Working as a team to complete the required task in a timely manner Clean equipment and shop as needed and keep work areas clean Daily tasks will be provided and will change on a daily basis. Job duties can/will change based on work flow and types of jobs in production Qualifications and Skills Requirements for the job: Follow instructions and be productive Read a tape measure and understand basic math Work with tools such as hand grinders, drills, buffers, small hand tools and saws Work with various materials; carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel Must be able to lift up to 50lbs Fork lift experience is a plus Proper training will be provided to eligible candidate/s
