Job Description

Job Summary We are partnered with a large organization in the South Charlotte area seeking a reliable and proactive Shipping and Receiving associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills, capable of managing daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring a smooth flow of goods into and out of the facility.

First Work Hours:
Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm onsite
Pay Rate:
$20.00/hr
Core Responsibilities Receiving:
Unloading trucks, inspecting shipments for damage, verifying packing lists against purchase orders, and logging inventory into warehouse systems.
Shipping:
Preparing, packaging, and labeling outgoing items; generating Bills of Lading (BOLs); and coordinating with freight carrier
Inventory Control:
Updating inventory counts, conducting inventory counts, and reconciling discrepancies.
Logistics & Safety:
Organizing the warehouse, loading deliveries, and following strict safety regulations (e.

G., using personal protective equipment and operating forklifts).
Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:
6 months or more of warehouse or logistics experience.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in RF scanners, inventory software, and computer applications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand for long periods, and perform, bending, or kneeling.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Key Competencies Strong attention to detail for tracking. Strong communication skills to interact with drivers and staff. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
