Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, familiarity with e-commerce processes, and a strong understanding of inventory management systems. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or packing slips. Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging products securely and labeling them correctly. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock effectively. Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and order pickers as needed. Maintain accurate records of all shipping and receiving activities, including inventory counts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfillment and resolve any discrepancies. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory management. Follow safety protocols to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving role is preferred. Familiarity with e-commerce operations is a plus. Proficient in using pallet jacks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment. Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to perform basic math functions for inventory management tasks.
