Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our logistics and warehouse team. In this role, you will oversee the efficient processing of outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, proper packaging, and timely dispatch. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, experience with warehouse management systems, and familiarity with shipping procedures. Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour Duties Prepare and package products according to specified standards, utilizing appropriate packaging materials to ensure safe transit. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts safely to load and unload goods. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to accurately pick, pack, and track orders throughout the fulfillment process. Manage shipping documentation including labels, bills of lading, and customs paperwork for domestic and international shipments. Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries while tracking shipments to ensure timely dispatch. Assist in inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and updating records in systems like AS400 or MRP software. Support receiving activities by unloading incoming goods, verifying quantities against purchase orders, and updating inventory records. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with the order picking team to ensure accurate order fulfillment aligned with customer specifications. Perform basic math calculations for weight, dimensions, or quantities during packing or inventory tasks. Experience Experience with Microsoft suites Proven warehouse experience with a focus on shipping & receiving operations. Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes within an e-commerce or retail environment. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400 or MRP software is advantageous. Previous involvement in order picking & packing activities using order picker equipment. Basic understanding of shipping regulations and documentation requirements for international shipments. Strong organizational skills combined with attention to detail and safety protocols.
Pay:
$17.00 - $18.00 per hour
