division is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver- 1st Shift
- RDC at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC. The hourly rate for this position is $19 per hour. Core hours for this role are 6:30am

Position Overview:
The Shipper/Receiver provide manufacturing expertise and support including but not limited to, sorting, verifying, recording, and routing incoming and outgoing shipments.In this function you will:
- Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position. You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton's quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process and perform quality checks as instructed
- Operate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate material
- Use a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freight
- Prepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights and affixing proper postage and paperwork
- Interface with shipping office, customer service, drivers and carriers to ensure proper delivery
- Coordinate required emergency shipments and requests during non-work hours
- Report irregularities or equipment malfunctions
- Drive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessary
Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processes
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience using SAP, warehouse management system
- Basic understanding of Microsoft applications
Skills:
Position Criteria:
- Ability to use good judgment when handling material with a safety focus
- Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position
- Willingness to become certified in operation of forklifts to transport and locate equipment and materials to required areas All positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process.
