Role:
The Receiver is responsible for managing incoming deliveries, verifying the accuracy of shipments, and maintaining clean, organized storage areas for Plum Market Food Service
  • Eppley Airfield.
This role is essential in ensuring that inventory is processed correctly and delivered promptly to various terminals and service points within the airport. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced, high-security environment.
What you will do:
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy against invoices and packing slips. Log deliveries and maintain organized inventory records in alignment with company procedures. Distribute product and supplies to appropriate locations throughout the airport terminals. Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve delivery or inventory discrepancies. Ensure all storage areas are clean, secure, and in compliance with food safety standards. Support inventory rotation (FIFO), stocking, and restocking efforts as needed. Assist with general facility upkeep and provide operational support to other departments as required.
What you will bring:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1 year experience in receiving, stockroom, or inventory-related role. Must have a valid driver's license and ability to transport product across airport property. Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly. Strong attention to detail, with solid organizational and time-management skills. Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and with a team. Must be available to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Experience working in an airport or transportation hub environment. Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and shipping documentation. Knowledge of food safety handling is a plus.
