Job Description

Receiving Specialist / Department Support About RD Industries RD Industries is a manufacturing company based in Omaha, Nebraska. We make chemical containment and dispensing products used by customers around the world. Our team focuses on safety, quality, and teamwork every day. Job Summary The Receiving Specialist helps make sure all incoming materials are checked, recorded, and stored correctly. This role supports the warehouse team and helps keep production running on time. What You'll Do Check incoming shipments for damage Count and verify items against purchase orders Complete inspection forms and enter data into the system Put materials away in the correct location (FIFO method) Receive finished products from production Receive internal manufactured products by verifying quantity by weight or physical count Help with shipping and warehouse tasks when needed Perform daily inventory counts Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized What We're Looking For Ability to follow instructions and stay organized Strong attention to detail Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to use tools like scales and measuring devices Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to help the team when needed Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required 1+ year of warehouse or receiving experience preferred Work Environment & Physical Needs Warehouse and manufacturing setting Use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners Standing and walking most of the day Lift up to 40 pounds regularly (up to 70 pounds occasionally) Bending and reaching throughout the shift RD Industries is an Equal Opportunity Employer and maintains a drug-free workplace
