Job Summary:

What You'll Do:
This position will work with and coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse activity in order to facilitate a timely and accurate order-fulfillment process, while ensuring all quality specifications are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with production, administration, sales, and customer service staff to maintain shipping schedules and fulfillment obligations of the company. Monitor production line and unload as needed. Notify block plant of quality issues or problems regarding product. Coordinate materials handling, staging of loads, and loading of trucks in an accurate manner in accordance with all shipping standards. Ensure that daily tasks are completed in a timely and consistent manner. Able to identify and resolve potential shipping issues or errors with both internal and external customers/contacts. Accurately prepare all shipping/receiving documents. Accurately ensure all picks and pallet assemblies are properly prepared for outbound shipments. Communicates shipment status with all internal customers and relevant staff. Contribute to continuous improvement process and help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse to communicate work instructions. Assist with production, when needed in times of high demand. Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have a high-school diploma and at least two years of shipping and receiving experience. Must be able to read, write, and speak in English and work in a team environment. Ability to navigate, input data, and look up information on a manufacturing business system. Prior experience with manufacturing computer system preferred. Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to all the company's safety policy procedures and recommendation. Able to drive a forklift and pick orders to be palletized and attend forklift training as required by OSHA. Understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
