Under the general direction of the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipper is responsible for the timely packing and shipping of manufactured pieces. Job DescriptionEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPackages assemblies and inspect wrapping, parts, and containers for conformance to company standards, customer requirements, shipping companies, and postal regulationsWeighs packages and determines postage and affixes postage stamps to packagesPrepares product and packages for shipping in conformity with company, customer, and government regulations, both domestic and internationallyAble to navigate and accurately enter data into various shipping websites for the generation of shipping labelsAble to navigate customer websites to provide up to date shipping dataReview questionable items with the company Technical Control Officer (TCO)Sorts parcels for shipment according to destination or other classificationWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
