Shipping and Receiving Clerk Job Description The Warehouse Palletizer is responsible for stacking, arranging, and securing products onto pallets for storage or shipment. This role ensures that goods are prepared efficiently, safely, and accurately to support smooth warehouse operations and timely order fulfillment. Responsibilities Ensure pallets are built securely and meet weight distribution and stability requirements. Wrap, label, and prepare pallets for shipping or storage. Inspect products for damage or defects before palletizing. Maintain accurate records of pallet counts and completed orders. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and staging pallets in designated areas. Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs. Follow warehouse safety protocols and comply with OSHA standards. Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Essential Skills Experience in shipping and receiving. Proficiency in palletizing and pallet building. Ability to lift cases of wine or alcohol, up to 50-60 lbs. Skill in shrink wrapping. Experience in loading trucks, picking, and put away operations. Proficiency with RF Scan gun operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
