Receiving Associate

SUMMARY The Receiving Associate supports daily warehouse and receiving operations by ensuring inbound materials are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory flow, supporting manufacturing needs, and keeping receiving areas organized while following established safety and operating procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Unload incoming shipments and verify materials against documentation. Record and log received items using tracking or verification tools. Collect samples of incoming raw materials while following safety protocols. Handle non-inventory items and route packages to the appropriate departments. Place received materials into assigned storage locations and assist with internal material movement. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow standard operating procedures at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Basic math and data entry skills. Working knowledge of computer applications, including spreadsheets. Prior experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Forklift operation experience and ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds.
