• Part-time FirstLight Home Care of Metuchen and Clark is hiring an experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for WEEKEND day shifts with a wonderful client in Rahway, NJ.

Pay:

$22-24/hr based on experience

Schedule:

Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 AM

• 6:00 PM (16 hours/week — both days required)

ASAP — targeting early June 2026 About the role: You'll be supporting an older adult who lives at home with family. The work is focused on companionship, helping with toileting and dressing, light meal prep, and a brief medication reminder in the morning. Showers and weekday daytime care are covered by other aides — your role is to be a warm, steady weekend presence. A family member will usually be home during your shift and is easy to work with. What we're looking for: Active New Jersey CHHA certification (required — we cannot accept CNA-only or out-of-state credentials) Real experience caring for clients with dementia Reliable transportation to Rahway Available consistently for BOTH Saturday and Sunday Patient, warm, and dependable — someone who shows up the same way every shift Comfortable working in a home where a family member is also present What we offer: W-2 employment (not 1099) with weekly direct deposit Orientation and ongoing training Real support from an owner and an RN who actually pick up the phone A small, growing team where your work is seen and respected Weekday evening hours also available at $20-22/hr if you want more — let us know on your application Next steps: Click Apply or call our office.
