Our client has a long term temporary opening for a detail-oriented Receiving Specialist in their warehouse department. See details below and apply today!
This position offers:
$20/hr. (depending on experience) Mon - Fri schedule, 6:30am - 3:00pm In this position, the successful candidate will safely and efficiently receive any incoming materials ensuring they are shipped to customers in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include:
Process incoming shipments and packages physically and in SAP Execute processing 3rd party items in system for inspection Load and unload products and materials from vehicles Operate warehouse equipment including forklift Process returns putaway physically and in SAP Transport materials throughout the building to appropriate person Label and prepare products for putaway Maintain an acceptable level of LEAN 5S by ensuring a clean and safe work environment, keeping workstations neat, aisles and pathways clear of debris and clutter and labeling items/areas where applicable Compliance with the use of personal protective equipment as required by law and company policy Assist Warehouse Support team when needed with replenishment, production orders, archives, driving duties, product processing, and other warehouse support function
Qualifications:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related experience required Must have basic computer knowledge. Microsoft Office skills a plus. Experience using a handheld scanner a plus Product knowledge and SAP experience helpful Ability to learn new tasks quickly and follow directions and procedures Attention to detail and organization skills required Must have reliable transportation as this location is not on a direct bus route Upon offer of employment, pre-employment screenings will be required
Physical Demands:
Ability to operate warehouse equipment; e.g. forklift, pallet jack Ability to climb stairs and safety ladders Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day, view computer monitor and move about effectively to fulfill the essential functions of the job Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Must be able to wear ASTM certified safety shoes for 8 hours per day #IND456
Pay:
$20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
