Distribution Clerk Bellport, Long Island NY

Job Summary:

The Distribution Clerk is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced eyewear distribution center. This role involves accurately picking, packing, labeling, and shipping eyeglass orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work efficiently in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pick and pack eyeglass frames, lenses, and accessories based on order specifications Verify product accuracy, including style, quantity, and prescription details w applicable Label, sort, and prepare shipments for delivery using warehouse systems Receive iing shipments and stock inventory in designated locations Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting Inspect products for damage or defects and report discrepancies Maintain a clean,anized, and safe work environment Operate warehouse equipment such as scanners, pallet jacks, or conveyors (if applicable) Followpany procedures, safety guidelines, and productivity standards

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basicputer skills and familiarity with inventory systems Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs Goodmunication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Work Environment:

Warehouse setting with moderate noise levels May require standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks Flexible schedule, including possible overtime or weekend shifts

Pay Details:
