Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will manage the efficient movement of goods in and out of our facility, ensuring accurate inventory control, timely order fulfillment, and smooth logistics operations. Your proactive approach will help maintain our reputation for reliability and excellence in customer service. Duties Checks items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain that quantity, distribution and routing are correct: enters same into the computer and a shipping log. Prepares documentation for shipment of customers' orders including freight bills and address labels: contacts customers and freight carriers for pick-ups as required. Receives incoming goods and materials, daily: verifies that these items are in accordance with purchase order specifications and enters them into the inventory: where appropriate routs shipments to proper departments. Prepares samples of product items for shipment to Sales Representatives.
