Summary:
Seeking applicants to join our maritime shipping research team and to become experts in the industry, along with shipping's various sub-sectors and those companies in the public markets.
Participants Will:
Conducting proprietary research evaluating the competitive landscape, analyzing industry news and company filings, attending conferences, and speaking with key opinion leaders Building and maintaining financial models and industry-specific databases Closely monitoring industry news and trends Writing research reports for initiations of coverage, analysis of data, and industry/company news Conceiving and completing differentiated project ideas. Communicating with company management teams, internal sales and trading personnel, and institutional investors Maintaining relationships with industry contacts Completing corporate access events including company non-deal roadshows and property tours (some travel may be required) Minimum qualifications Bachelor's degree 5+ years of proven experience within equity research and/or within the maritime shipping sector We are looking for a candidate who has strong written and oral communication skills, can work independently without much direction and likes to take on significant responsibility Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $135,000 - $165,000.
