Our Port Jefferson Station store is expanding its ECommerce business and we are in need of a FT Shipping Clerk to keep up with our online orders! The Shipping Clerk will work in our fulfillment center and will be responsible for processing outbound shipments with precision while maintaining our high standards for speed and accuracy. Responsibilities Package items using proper materials and techniques to prevent damage during transitApply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickupLift and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds regularlyWill work directly with customers to resolve any and all order issuesFollow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work areaOther duties and functions as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalentMust have 2 + years of shipping experience, preferably in a large retail food/beverage warehouseBasic computer literacy and ability to learn warehouse management softwareAbility to repetitively lift, bend, reach, and move packages up to 50 poundsDetail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and efficiencyReliable transportation to ensure punctual attendanceFlexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to speak, read and communicate in the English Language We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(K), 50% off store lunch, 25% off in store shopping and more!
