A successful candidate will:
Receive and process all incoming heavy equipment, such as excavators, wheel loaders, compact loaders, rollers, compactors, and other construction, truck, and aggregate equipment. Inspect incoming deliveries for damages, shortages, or other mistakes, and communicate with the sales team to rectify any issues. Record and report any discrepancies or damage to the equipment. Photograph all incoming equipment for inventory records and update photographs for existing inventory. Upload all images to the computer system for use in online inventory management and for internal records. Operate and move various types of construction equipment within the dealership yard to ensure proper storage and handling. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate tracking of all assets. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory reporting.Experience:
Experience with heavy equipment, construction equipment, or similar industries. Ability to operate and move heavy machinery safely. Proven history operating heavy equipment, such as excavators, wheel loaders, compact loaders, rollers, compactors, etc.Skills:
Very safety conscious. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Strong attention to detail, especially in inspecting and recording equipment status. Basic photography skills to capture clear and detailed images. Familiarity with Dropbox or other online storage platforms is preferred. Strong communication skills to collaborate with sales and other departments. Ability to bend, stoop, walk, sit, stand, lift and carry for long periods of time.
