Job Description

Milacron is looking for a Shipping Associate to join our team in Batavia, Ohio on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm). The Shipping Associate is responsible for loading and unloading trucks with forklifts or cranes, uncrate and unpackage product and stage to designated location, and processing inbound and outbound machined parts.
Work You'll Do:
Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high. Assist in organizing stock and maintain inventory Daily use of overhead cranes to load and unload large inventory. Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document any instances Expedite / prioritize workload Unload and put away incoming inventory items appropriately. Abide by all company policies and safety policies. Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize shipping procedures. Keep shipping and receiving clean and organized daily (5's). Operates forklifts / cranes to transport large items around the plant. Addresses and resolves any shipment or delivery errors. Updates management or supervisor on the status of inventory, shipments, and deliveries. Movement of raw material and finished goods throughout the facility and in the yard Assist with yearly physical inventory
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge (basic math, reading, writing) Forklift and crane experience A team player with strong organization skills A positive mindset with the willingness to learn and seek out efficiencies and optimize standards Ability to demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress / emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments Ability to demonstrate personal leadership and continuous improvement efforts Basic computer skills Previous experience in shipping/receiving operations.
