Job Summary Shipping and Receiving Associate This position will report to the Shipping and Receiving Manager, fulfilling a variety of responsibilities listed below. The hours are Monday through Friday 8:45am to 5pm. Obtain and process customer orders, receiving deliveries, and all other supporting documents related to the department within the company. Complete shipment audit to ensure accuracy when reviewing all shipping documents. (Pick list, Pack list, Bill of Ladings) Create labels, tags, memos, letters, communications, as needed. Loading and unloading trailers. Cross train in the shipping or receiving area. Maintain clean, neat, safe and orderly work area.

Utilize Company applications:

Microsoft Office, Outlook, Carrier websites / portals as required to support shipments. Other tasks related to the department as assigned by management

Desired Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong computer skills Ability to operate warehouse machinery such as forklifts Knowledge of shipping methods and processes . Ability to lift up to 70 pounds continuously. Ability to work in a non-temperature controlled environment. Ability to work on your feet for an extended period of time. Detail-oriented and multitasking skills Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
