This opportunity lets you play a key role in receiving incoming shipments, preparing outbound orders, and helping maintain an organized, efficient warehouse operation. The Shipping Dock Associate is responsible for loading and unloading freight, verifying shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are received, staged, and shipped safely and efficiently. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience receiving, storing, picking, packing, or shipping products in a warehouse environment. Ability to accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment following company procedures. Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and inventory accuracy. 1 year of experience in warehouse work Job Duties Load and unload freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand dollies. Verify shipments by scanning barcodes and checking product counts. Inspect freight for damage and report discrepancies. Complete shipping documents, including Bills of Lading and packing slips. Stage and sort materials by route or destination. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dock area. Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, or inventory software is preferred. Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is beneficial. Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or order fulfillment is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate dependability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Shipping Dock Associate. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely load, unload, and organize products in a warehouse environment. Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and production conditions as required.
