Shipping & Receiving Clerk - 1st shift

Nissin Precision North America is a metal stamping and welded assembly facility located in Englewood, Ohio. Coordinates the shipping and receiving activities by verifying and recording incoming and outgoing shipments, and preparing non-inventory items for shipment by performing the following duties.: •Gather information and prepare reports regarding the shipping/receiving functions to assure accurate inventories. Record material receipts from vendors into Plex system. Oversees incoming and outgoing UPS shipping activities to insure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments. Reviews and verifies bills of lading for accuracy. Invoices shipments through the business system. Confers with and contacts various departments when problems arise to assure prompt services, and recommends and implements cost improvements. Directs movement of shipment from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas. Operates powered industrial truck and assists in moving materials to specific locations when needed. Post weight and shipping charges. Attaches identifying tags or labels to material or marks information on cases, pallets, or other containers. Prepares packing sheets and labels. Adjusts errors and complaints. Participates in ware house sanitation and housekeeping function. Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency. EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) One to three years shipping and receiving experience.
