Job Description

Shipping and Receiving Clerk 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri, 12:00pm-8:30pm and some Saturdays as needed) $3.00 shift differential available for working on the off shift. We are looking for a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure our products are properly prepared, packaged, and shipped to customers around the world while also supporting incoming shipments and inventory accuracy. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of a team that keeps operations running smoothly, this could be a great fit. What You Will Be Doing Clean super abrasive parts (grinding wheels and saw blades) using a media blaster to prepare for packaging Laser engrave parts and package them for shipment Process domestic and international shipments using our ERP system Pick orders from stock to meet customer needs Build custom boxes or crates when needed Load trucks and maintain a clean work area Unload shipments from FedEx, UPS, and other carriers Verify received items against packing slips Receive purchase orders into inventory and move stock to proper locations Assist with inventory adjustments and return merchandise authorizations (RMAs) Requirements Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift 75+ lbs Ability to sit and stand throughout the day as needed Proficient in English to follow verbal and written instructions and safety policies Willingness to work around chemicals and use appropriate PPE Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Ability to take measurements using a tape measure and calipers Comfortable using computers and software systems Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks Strong attention to detail Helpful Experience (but not required) The following experience will be taken into consideration: Previous shipping and receiving experience Creating Bills of Lading (BOLs) for freight shipments Forklift experience (training will be provided if needed) Experience using an ERP system Hazmat training Ability to read blueprints or vector drawings Abrasive Technology also offers our associates: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, Company paid life insurance, short-term disability, and long-term disability, Company matched 401k plan, Quarterly incentive bonuses, Tuition reimbursement, Paid time off, Paid holidays, and Paid facility shutdown in December.
