Job Description

Shipping & Receiving Associate - Sika Corporation (Marion, OH) Position Summary The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, timely shipments, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This role supports warehouse operations and production by maintaining efficient logistics processes. Key Responsibilities Shipping/Receiving Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips Inspect materials for damage, quality issues, or discrepancies Enter received goods into inventory systems (ERP/WMS) Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations Communicate with procurement or supervisors regarding shortages or damaged goods Prepare, package, and label outgoing shipments according to company and carrier standards Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies) for pickups and deliveries Generate shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels) Ensure outbound orders are complete, accurate, and shipped on time Track shipments and resolve delivery issues as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Min. 6 months of forklift/warehouse Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) Starting Pay $18/hr. Available shifts 6AM-2:30PM (2)
Pay Details:
