Job Description

Verifies and accurately receives incoming shipments, ensures all inventory items are properly identified and prepares items for distribution to the appropriate internal departments. Monday- Friday, 7AM-3:30PM High School Diploma or GED Excellent math skills, good communication skills, teamwork mentality, self-motivated, detail oriented and accurate. Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of P21, Outlook, Excel and Word Operate an RF Scanner Ability to operate a sit down forklift and stand-up reach truck Participate in product training and other resources available to enhance knowledge of product and uses. Must possess behaviors that support HCL's high level of commitment and services to the Customer. Ability to read and comprehend directions Must comply with warehouse guidelines and company policy and operate according to OSHA standards for safety Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, packing lists, and spec sheets. Examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and maintain consistent and professional communication with other internal departments to rectify damages, shortages, and any changes to inventory items. Accurately handle inventory item/supply transfer to ensure the product is readily accessible for Processing and Shipping. Operates a sit down forklift and stand-up reach truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from receiving dock to storage or appropriate designated locations. Willing to cross train in other Warehouse departments as needed to fulfill our commitments to customers. All other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
Frequently Standing; Walking; Preferred Hand and other hand use; Reaching; Kneeling; Pushing; Pulling; Lifting; Climbing; Balancing; Carrying; Twisting; Turning; Bending; Stooping. Occasionally lifting/exerting up to 70 pounds with assistance, and frequently up to 40 pounds of force alone.
