Learn more at irco.com and join us to own your future. Job Overview As a Shipping Clerk, you will ensure the accurate preparation and movement of outgoing shipments from our facility. This includes picking and staging orders, verifying shipment accuracy, preparing documentation, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow a career in warehouse or logistics operations — no experience is required, and full training will be provided . Responsibilities Prepare, package, and stage outgoing shipments according to customer requirements and internal procedures. Verify accuracy of shipments, ensuring correct items, quantities, and documentation. Create shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and other required paperwork. Coordinate pickup scheduling and carrier communication as needed. Load trucks using forklifts or other material?handling equipment (training provided). Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area. Communicate with production, planning, and customer service teams to ensure timely order fulfillment. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits. Follow all company safety guidelines and standard operating procedures. Requirements No prior experience required — we will train you. Basic computer skills or willingness to learn inventory/ERP systems. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to learn and safely operate forklifts/material?handling equipment (certification provided). Core Competencies (If needed) Dependability and strong work ethic. Effective communication skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Preferences Previous shipping or warehouse experience (preferred, not required). Forklift experience or certification (preferred; training available). Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or 5S principles. Travel & Work Arrangements On?site position based in Tulsa, OK. No travel required. Must be able to work extended hours as required by management. Pay Range Starting pay for this position is $16.00 per hour . This is a full?time, hourly position.
