Yes Overview Fiber Pad is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in order fulfillment and warehouse management, contributing to the overall success of our Shipping Team.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serve as the last inspection point for products and orders before they leave Fiber Pad and are sent to our customer, ensuring quality through but not limited to the visual inspection and verification of order numbers and shipping requirements. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to internal and customer specifications, with minimal supervision. Ensure all packages are labeled correctly and prepared for delivery. Receive incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and verify contents against purchase orders, reporting any discrepancies to Shipping Lead, Shipping Manager or otherwise designated individual. Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system. Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely to move products within the warehouse, to place and pull items from the racking system. Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise, working to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner to meet internal standards. Ensure adherence to Quality Management System, per certification requirements. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve efficiency in shipping and receiving processes. Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment. Assist in all phases of housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized to help maintain a neat and tidy work area. Perform other duties as needed or assigned by leadership.
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in order picking and order fulfillment processes. Prefer 1 to 3 years of experience in shipping & receiving systems, including Fed-Ex/UPS, LTL, customer portals and records verification. Experience with inventory management. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office. Ability to learn to operate forklifts safely, following all safety requirements. Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in shipping and receiving tasks. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to count, read and interpret PO's. Previous experience in a distribution center is a plus. Ability to collaborate and work well within a team environment, and willingness to motivate and support others, supporting the Core Values of Fiber Pad.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: Ability to use hands including fingers to hold, touch, see, feel, grip, squeeze, push and pull. Ability to perform pushing, pulling, forward exertion on a regular basis. Ability to see near and far, utilize peripheral vision and depth perception for tasks being performed. Ability to have overhead extension with arms on a regular basis Ability to use enhanced levels of manual dexterity with arms and hands to operate taping and packaging materials, forklifts regularly and industrial power tools occasionally. Ability to stand and walk continuously on concrete floor for 10-hour shifts Ability stand, crouch, stoop, bend, kneel and squat frequently. Ability to bend and twist at the hip and waist area on a regular basis Ability to rotate neck to look backwards, up, down and sideways on a regular basis Ability to regularly lift and or move 45-55 lbs. Ability to understand and communicate verbally, in person and over paging system Ability to meet requirements of and utilize all PPE when required .
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside in heat/cold; with exposure to production noise. Required to use PPE while performing job functions.
SPECIAL JOB DIMENSIONS
Work involves overtime and could involve schedule changes based on company need. Requires adherence to deadlines and project completion deadlines.

How many years of forklift experience do you have? Are you able to work Monday - Friday 8am-5pm? Our positions require access to export-controlled information.
