Occasional Saturdays as needed Tulsa manufacturer specializing in rolled ring forgings, while also producing discs, bars, blocks, and pot die forgings for customers across a variety of industries is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to join our team. Job Summary The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing the flow of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring accurate documentation, inventory control, and on-time shipments. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with freight carriers, production personnel, and customers to support daily operations. Responsibilities Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders Stage finished product for shipment according to customer requirements and shipping schedules Schedule and communicate with freight carriers to arrange pickups and deliveries Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing lists, and other required shipping documentation Complete Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) when required by customers Perform dock audits to verify shipment accuracy and ensure all products are properly documented before shipment Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using material handling equipment Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy and quality Enter and complete shipments within the company's ERP system Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records Coordinate material movement throughout the facility to support production needs Work closely with production, quality, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized shipping and receiving area Physical Requirements Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the workday Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks in a manufacturing environment (non-climate controlled) Ability to safely operate warehouse and material handling equipment Requirements Clean background check Pass a drug screening Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Forklift experience Ability to work occasional overtime and Saturdays when required Qualifications Previous shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment required Experience coordinating outbound shipments and scheduling freight carriers Working knowledge of shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and freight paperwork Experience preparing and submitting Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) preferred Experience using an ERP system to process shipments, manage inventory, and maintain shipping records Forklift experience required; certification preferred Knowledge of LTL and full truckload shipping processes Experience staging materials and finished goods for shipment Ability to perform dock audits and verify shipment accuracy before release Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and ERP software Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production, quality, and customer service teams Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with forged metal products, steel manufacturing, or industrial production environments Experience working directly with freight carriers, brokers, and customer logistics departments Inventory control and cycle counting experience Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, first-shift schedule Overtime opportunities Stable, long-term employment Opportunity to work with a respected manufacturer of forged metal products Apply Today!
