Job Title:
Shipping Associate Job Description This role focuses on kitting, folding, and packing sponges to support efficient shipping and production operations. You work on the production floor performing general labor and packing tasks while maintaining accuracy and consistency throughout your shift. Responsibilities Kit, fold, and pack sponges according to established procedures and quality standards. Perform general labor tasks related to shipping and production as assigned. Organize and package products to ensure they are ready for shipment. Maintain attention to detail to ensure correct quantities, labeling, and packaging. Follow all workplace guidelines and instructions from supervisors and team leads. Support overall production flow by completing tasks efficiently and on time. Keep your work area clean and orderly to promote safety and productivity. Essential Skills Proven attention to detail when handling, counting, and packing items. Ability to perform general labor tasks in a production environment. Capability to stand and sit for extended periods during the shift. Reliability in following instructions and adhering to established processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Comfort working in a busy production floor environment. Willingness to work a short-term assignment with potential for extension and contract-to-hire. Ability to work independently and as part of a small team. Why Work Here? Work Environment You work on a production floor alongside approximately 25 coworkers, while the warehouse area has around 6 people. The facility is not temperature controlled but is equipped with numerous fans to improve comfort. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch. No personal protective equipment is required, and casual attire such as shorts is allowed. This is a one-week temporary assignment with the possibility of extension and eventual contract-to-hire. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Audubon, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
