Shipping and Receiving Clerk:

Cronimet Specialty Metals, a metal recycling operation located in Bedford, PA is looking for a hardworking and dependable team player who is seeking a full-time position with a company that looks at every member as an integral part of the team. This team member will be responsible for processing orders, labeling goods, maintaining accurate inventory files, scheduling and logistics, handling issues as they arise, utilizing forklift and pallet jack for organizing warehouse, and assisting with any additional duties as instructed by production supervisor. Starting rate is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour (plus shift differential) depending on experience with full benefits and an increase after 90 days. Experience and skills will be considered to determine wages.

Job Duties:

Preferred experience but not required: Experience with any or all the following is a plus but is not required: production equipment operation, hand tools, overhead cranes, and safety rules Five years of prior manufacturing or production experience Inventory computer software management, RIMAS experience a plus Microsoft Excel Strong forklift skills CDL B license Detail oriented, problem solving, and multitasking skills

Required:

Willingness to learn and take instruction from production supervisor and other team members to learn skills. Ability to be trained on the job. Strong math skills and knowledge. Team player. Ability to learn to safely operate a forklift. Ability to safely operate hand/power tools, sanders, grinders, cutters, and other shop equipment. Will be required to pass a physical for required respirator usage. Able to keep shop areas clean and organized. Perform any and all other job-related tasks as assigned. Must be able to lift 50+lbs as part of daily job responsibilities. Will be required to pass a mandatory drug test prior to hire.
