You will safely move equipment and materials, keep track of inventory, and work with supervisors to clear any production bottlenecks. It is a great role for anyone who loves active work, solving problems, and being part of a reliable team.
Responsibilities:
Inspect safety equipment daily and report any broken parts before using the tools.
Operate forklifts, electric hoists, and other machinery to safely load, unload, and move materials.
Read work orders and shipping documents to figure out where items need to go across the plant.
Pack and strap items securely into vehicles and containers to keep them safe during travel.
Tag and label all incoming and outgoing boxes, pallets, and storage cases with accurate information.
Check material samples against quality rules to make sure our standards are met.
Talk with department managers to plan the best daily schedules for moving materials.
Education:
High School High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and six to twelve months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
72 months 6 to 12 months of material handling, warehouse, or factory experience.
Hands-on experience running industrial trucks, forklifts, or electric hoists.
Basic math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers and fractions easily.
Basic computer skills to check inventory files and look up work details.
Physical ability to safely lift, pull, and move up to 60 pounds throughout your shift.
Strong reading and communication skills to follow work orders, label products, and talk with team leaders.

Ability to look up inventory data, check shipping notices, and enter work notes.

Ability to perform pre-shift equipment inspections and follow company environmental rules (like
ISO 14001
guidelines).
