We have an immediate full-time opening for a ShippingReceiving Associate to join our Warehouse Department in Portland, PA. This position require previous trailer loading and unloading experience, but are supported by a team that will train you to perform in our unique environment. What you can expect to be doing: Load and unload raw material and finished goods trailers Operate sit-down forklift to move materials around the production floor Ensure incoming materials and finished materials are correctly labeled and documented (scanned) in the inventory Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments Maintains organization of raw and finished materials in a manner that best meets the needs of the floor Identifies busted parcels, and brings them to production for processing, or repackages for shipping as necessary Help to scale trucks in and out after hours when needed This position is "hands on" and the individual should have a self-starter mindset. Responsible for executing all safety protocols - safety is critical to everyone's success. What we are looking for in our hires: Our successful candidates are self-starters who are willing to learn! Have a strong work ethic - dependable and demonstrate good attendance Able to work Monday - Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Able to meet the physical qualifications for this position which include: Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds Standing for an extended period of time Lift, throw, bend, squat, twist, and reach Working in both hot and cold conditions Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship Need to be able to read, write and understand English Basic computer knowledge is a plus Lastly, have a positive attitude and be willing to assist others when needed.
