The role supports various business units and may require assistance with packaging as needed. Prior experience in a shipping/ receiveing role, strong computer skills to update inventory records or customer order information, along with using RF scanners and following specific shipping instrcutions when completing orders will be required to be considered for this role. Responsibilities Receive and process orders using the company ERP system. Demonstrate computer literacy and the ability to lift packages weighing up to 40 lbs. Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and guidelines. Move materials from receiving or storage areas to designated areas. Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequences. Assemble and relocate customer orders as necessary. Assist in unloading trucks, checking merchandise, and distributing orders for processing. Read and interpret customer, work, and shipping orders. Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to manage delivery schedules. Open bales, crates, and other containers. Record amounts of materials received or distributed via the appropriate computer program. Assist in counting physical inventory and ensure conformity to standards. Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed, such as sweeping, dusting, and mopping. Organize the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times. Prepare parcels for mailing. Essential Skills Proficiency in inventory management, shipping, and receiving. Experience with order selection, packing, and packaging. Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in a warehouse and distribution environment. Forklift operation (willingness to receive training). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sharon Hill, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
