Part Time - Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Job Overview We are seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.

Rate:

Starting at $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday thru Friday (hours are negotiable at time of hire) Responsibilities Operate forklift and hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper departments, areas or trucks. Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring all items are correctly packaged. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders. Perform computer functions necessary to ship and track various aspects of shipments. Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and aisles clear. Sweep, dust, and mop, and handle trash removal. Perform pickups and deliveries to local suppliers using company vehicles. Assist in Return Authorization vendor repair requests, monitoring and communication. Light production as needed - batching, stickers, etc Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and address any discrepancies in shipments. Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Clean Driving Record with valid license, required - with reliable transportation to work. Forklift Certification, preferred Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed throughout the shift. Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and reach trucks safely. Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle packages and shipments. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
