$21-$24 (negotiable) We are seeking two detail-oriented and experienced Shipping, Receiving & Inventory Clerks for a temporary assignment focused on improving inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. These positions will execute comprehensive physical inventory counts, implement cycle counting processes, and support day-to-day shipping and receiving operations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in hands-on warehouse environments and want to make a measurable impact on operational efficiency. Duties Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies. Perform cycle counts Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products according to customer specifications and shipping standards. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely and efficiently. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, RF scanners, and inventory management software to track stock levels and update records accurately. Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry and stock management practices. Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange shipping logistics for domestic and international deliveries while ensuring compliance with trade regulations. Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and support inventory management efforts. Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs paperwork, and export/import documentation in accordance with trade compliance standards. Support order fulfillment processes for e-commerce platforms by ensuring timely picking & packing and order accuracy. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment conducive to efficient operations. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics roles; prior experience as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk preferred. Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems such as AS400 or MRPs. Skilled in using RF scanners, pallet jacks, reach trucks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely. Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and packaging standards. Basic math skills for counting, measurements, and calculations related to inventory and shipments. Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Effective communication skills for coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. This role is integral to our supply chain success.
